Boyd Street Endowment Fund is a 501(c)(3) that supports minority- and female-led, venture-backed companies and organizations that seek to develop and invest in the university technology transfer entrepreneurial community.
Our Mission
We invest in businesses led by minorities, females and socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDI) to help bring their innovations to market.
We approach each investment opportunity with an emphasis on visionary founders and a disciplined sector focus.
We have unique access to university technologies and ventures and connect them to operational resources and capital in collaboration with partners like Boyd Street Ventures.
Our Focus
Boyd Street Endowment Fund’s core focus is connecting minority-, female- and SEDI-led early-stage innovations with investors.
We invest in and guide entrepreneurial businesses focused on the Aerospace & Defense, Climate Tech, Energy Tech, Fintech, Life Sciences sectors.
While our strategic geographic focus is mainly on the American Heartland, we are open to working with Historically Black Colleges and Universities to support their affiliated founder-led companies regardless of location.

Boyd Street Endowment Fund accepts cash contributions from individuals and companies; grants and distributions from donor-advised funds, foundations, and charitable trusts; and anything with established or appraisable value, including: cryptocurrency, real estate, stocks, bonds, privately held business interests, fund manager carried interest, and collectible art.
