Driving Portfolio Optimization
While BSV plays the role of "active investor" by providing strategic and operational guidance to all of its portfolio companies, at any given time two-to-four portfolio companies will receive particularly intensive guidance and operational support as participants in the Boyd Street Venture Studio.
The guidance and operational support provided by BSV through its staff and its Strategic Advisory Board will depend on the portfolio company's needs. Typically this support will focus in one or more of these areas:
- Founder advisory
- Go-to-market strategy
- Team and infrastructure
- Capital raising
- Office space
