Fund I Update
We’re excited to announce that Boyd Street Ventures Fund I has been officially extended through December 31, 2025. Exum Instruments Launches $15M Series B to Accelerate Growth
Exum Instruments is launching a $15M Series B and actively seeking a lead investor to price the round. The team is building on strong commercial momentum and is pursuing strategic introductions — including with Hitachi and broker-dealer partners — to support its next phase of growth across industrial and scientific markets. Cadenza Bio entered 2025 with strong momentum following a transformative year marked by key scientific and strategic milestones.
The company advanced its novel platform for G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) stabilization, enabling faster discovery of previously intractable drug targets. Its lead program in oncology achieved preclinical proof-of-concept, positioning it for IND-enabling studies by Q3 2025. Cadenza expanded its pharma partnerships, adding two new collaborators and securing non-dilutive capital to fuel platform development. With its seed round successfully closed and an experienced team in place, Cadenza is now poised to raise a Series A to scale its pipeline and platform toward first-in-human studies. Vinsense enters 2025 with strong momentum and promising strategic partnerships. The team is finalizing a revenue-sharing agreement with AgTechLogic and planning a joint pilot with Jackson Family Wines. CTOMinerva Dorantes will pitch as a finalist in the UC ANR VINE Connect accelerator, while the company continues refining its strategy with Innovatemap. Vinsense is extending its bridge round by $950K under previous terms and operating with a leaner burn rate.
