We’re pleased to share that Boyd Street Ventures Fund I remains open through December 31, 2025. The extension reflects strong ongoing interest from new LPs and meaningful momentum across our portfolio.

This additional time will allow us to back breakout performers in later stages and continue building strategic value for our limited partners.

Impressive Traction by Our Portfolio Companies 

 

All 16 of our portfolio companies are making meaningful strides across healthtech, fintech, biotech, and infrastructure tech.

This quarter, we’re featuring three standout companies to give a glimpse into the kind of traction we’re seeing across the board. We’ll continue to rotate updates in future editions.

BossTax

  • Gaining rapid adoption among independent contractors and gig workers nationwide.

  • Launched new onboarding tools and integrated with major freelance marketplaces.

  • Refreshed the platform’s user interface and significantly improved user experience.

  • Released a revised product just in time for the most recent tax season, driving user growth and engagement.

  • Actively leveraging insights from the tax season to refine features and drive future adoption.

  • Hiring for key positions including VP of Engineering and new marketing roles to support national scale.

BossTax

IV Ensure

  • Scaling its in-home infusion therapy platform with expanded digital infrastructure:

    • Launched a mobile scheduling tool

    • Rolled out a new nurse training module to ensure clinical consistency

  • Signed payer contracts across the Midwest and piloting services with a leading home health network.

  • Proprietary solution includes:

    • FDA-approved Class I remote monitoring device

    • 3 issued patents (2 Utility, 1 Design)

  • Clinical results show a >50% reduction in hospital readmissions, per a University of Oklahoma trial.

  • Positioned for commercial scale with a $4M Series A in motion and manufacturing partner secured.

Watkins-Conti Products, Inc.

  • Accelerating commercialization of Yōni.Fit, a breakthrough, non-surgical treatment for stress urinary incontinence (SUI).

  • Distribution agreements secured with Cardinal Health and Walgreens; agreement with CVS currently pending.

  • Gaining traction with OB/GYN networks and institutional buyers focused on women's pelvic health.

  • Received FDA clearance and published clinical trial results in the peer-reviewed journal Urogynecology.

  • Released clinical white papers supporting Yōni.Fit’s safety, efficacy, and patient satisfaction.

  • Founded by Allison Watkins, a former SUI patient herself, and backed by a high-level board including the President of Cardinal Health.

Advisor Spotlight:

Lawrence McKinney is a distinguished leader in economic development, currently serving as President & CEO of the Cleveland County Economic Development Coalition (CCEDC) in Norman, OK.

In 2024, he was named Economic Developer of the Year by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) for his transformational leadership. Under his guidance, CCEDC secured $20M for the Oklahoma Aviation Academy and a $7M Quality Jobs Tax Credit to support ACT’s 800-job expansion in Norman.

Lawrence brings over 35 years of experience, holding certifications as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD), Certified Chamber Executive (CCE), and IOM—one of just 11 professionals nationally to hold all three. He also serves as a Principal at Economic Strategy Professionals, LLC and as a Strategic Advisor to Boyd Street Ventures.

Upcoming Events: Boyd Street Tailgates

Join us at every OU home football game this fall for the Boyd Street Ventures Tailgate Series, co-hosted with Stride Bank at 331 W Boyd Street and 329 W Boyd Street in Norman, OK. These casual gatherings are a great opportunity to connect with founders, LPs, and community leaders in a relaxed, game-day setting.
 
This year, we’re excited to welcome KREF – The Home of Sooner Fans as they broadcast live remotes from the tailgate throughout the season.
